Hurrah we launched another Portal based on our Bea Weblogic Portal / Componence Portlet Suite platform. This time it is Vetsonline, an English language portal aimed at Veterinarians in the UK. Loosely based on the French Portal for the same professionals in France. Go check'm out and see for yourself they are different yet share the same technological foundation.
It does show the Lego bricks strategy works. Obviously there is lots of re-use of existing functionality. Like I always say if you are creative you can build almost anything with the building blocks supplied. Christian Sylvestre, Technical Project Manager demonstrates the Portal and its main functionality, touting the benefits of the standards based approach.
