It's all over the internet today, Sony & Google make available books published before 1923, or to be more specific books where the copyright has expired. I don't think that Amazon will be scared by this initiative, on the other hand it shows that it's sofware / content that is missing. A reader without the content will be a failure. But I think I adding a library of old books isn't enough reason for consumers (including myself) to rush to get a Sony Ebook reader now. I personally think that Bright's initiative (Dutch Magazine) to publish the magazine as an ebook too is what will make a difference, who's next?
